I don’t think it is an obligation or duty to save this person’s life. Although, it is ethically right to do so. Saving this man’s would only hassle me for nine months, not do any harm to me or kill me. It’s like helping a homeless by giving them some change to buy food, volunteer at a nearby hospital or give gifts to those children who are in need. The outcome is that it makes us feel like a better person even though sometimes it can take up some of our time. However, there are still some people who are selfish human beings and just care about their own necessity. Overall all, some people enjoy that feeling inside from helping others in need in the community or the world.

If I were in that position, I would help that person in need, unless it was a person that did nothing but care about them. I wouldn’t mind spending nine months connected to this violinist or even a famous person that has took some time to contribute something to the world. Certainly, if it were a family member or a close friend, I would be more eager to help them out in times of need. Overall I think that it just depends on the person; it’s up to the person who’s being hooked up to the violinist to decide whether or not they want to help this person.
